4. North Carolina Critical Care Medicine Intensivist. A private practice group seeks an additional Intensivist for its full-service intensivist program. This North Carolina regional medical center is a JCAHO-accredited, 314-bed hospital. The Intensivist group provides 16/hr a day coverage in the12-bed mixed medical surgical intensive care unit and 7-bed intermediate care unit. This is a true intensivist program with multidisciplinary rounds and a team care environment. An exciting and varied population will challenge physicians dedicated to the practice of full time critical care. This hospital partners with Duke University Health System to manage its Heart Center, which includes 2 cardiothoracic OR's, a 6-bed CVICU, and a cardiac cath lab.
